A love of writing, photography and design combined with a natural curiosity for people, culture, food and travel has prepared Belinda well for her role as Strategy Development at Queen Victoria Market. Belinda has been working at the Market since 2014 and has held various project coordination and management roles on the Queen Victoria Market Precinct Renewal Program throughout that period. In past lives she has held positions in the legal and publishing spheres and even used to own her own bakery.
She is currently working to develop a range of key initiatives including events, technology, education and heritage interpretation strategies that will contribute to the realisation of QVM’s strategic vision - to create a thriving marketplace loved by the people ofMelbourne and visitors. This includes facilitating the delivery of a range of strategic projects in collaboration with key stakeholders and partners, including the Public Art Melbourne Biennial Lab and is exploring other opportunities with the City of Melbourne Smart City Office, University of Melbourne, RMIT and the Melbourne Networked Society Institute.
